Gingerbread Pancakes

Sound good to you?

Next Tuesday will be our next let's get together night.
We talked about doing gifts in a jar, right? Well, until we get a little more organized on how to communicate more effectively, this will have to do. I couldn't figure out how to best put together who would bring what ingredient and how many jars would we need...and most importantly...How many ladies would be coming.

We had a fantastic turn out last month! And a delightful time.

Let's do that again!

This time, Karen Thurston has welcomed us into her home.
Here's what we're doing. Gifts in a quart size ziplock. Sound weird, maybe. But its easier (and cheaper) than rounding up mason jars. Sarah Hawker found a delish gingerbread pancake recipe that can be put in a quart baggie. I will be providing cute Christmas bags to put our plastic bags in. And Sarah is making gingerbread cut outs that we can paste the recipe on to put with our gift bags.
What I need from you ladies is an idea of how many are coming. And how many gift bags you want to make. One recipe makes 10 to 12 pancakes. It can be doubled and still fit comfortably in the quart bag. And, are you willing to bring an ingredient for all to share. After I gather up that info, I will be able to divy out the other ingredients that we'll need.

Re-Cap
Next Tuesday, December 1st. Karen Thurston's home. 7pm
Gingerbread pancake mixes in quart ziplocks
Do you want to come? How many gifts would you like to make? Are you willing to divy up the ingredients so that we can all share the cost? i.e bag of flour, baking soda, salt, ground ginger, etc

Email me at zonazag@gmail.com ASAP so that we can get it put together.
Can't wait to see (and hear from) all of you!

Cheers
Jessica
